Launch X-431 Scan Tool Trade-In Offer

The promoter of this offer is Bapcor New Zealand Limited (NZBN 9429040798745) of C/- TMF Group, Level 11, 41 Shortland Street, Auckland 1010, New Zealand (Promoter). The Promoter, together with its subsidiaries and associated business units, including BNT, Autolign and Truck & Trailer Parts, is referred to in these Terms and Conditions as Bapcor.

The offer is available to New Zealand business and trade customers with a current Bapcor trading account (Participants). Sales made under cash sale accounts are not eligible.

The offer applies to qualifying purchases made during the Monster Deals 48 Hour Sale, from 12:01am on 20 October 2026 to 11:59pm on 21 October 2026 (Promotion Period).

How to participate

A Participant who purchases one of the following Launch X-431 diagnostic tools during the Promotion Period may receive the corresponding trade-in credit, subject to these Terms and Conditions:

Launch X-431 PRO 3 LINK: $680 trade-in credit.
Launch X-431 PAD 9 LINK: $1,265 trade-in credit.

The trade-in credit is available when the Participant trades in an eligible, fully functional Launch or competitor-branded scan tool. The trade-in tool and its proposed credit must be approved by Launch before the purchase is completed.

Trade-in approval and return

  1. Before completing the purchase, the Participant must provide the participating branch with a clear photo of the trade-in tool, its make and model, and its serial number.
  2. The branch will submit those details to Precision Equipment, which will seek Launch’s approval. Approval will normally take 3–4 working days, but may be received sooner.
  3. Once the trade-in has been approved, the Participant may proceed with the purchase of the participating Launch X-431 tool.
  4. The approved trade-in tool must be returned through the participating branch for delivery to Precision Equipment. The tool returned must be the same unit that Launch approved.
  5. The new Launch X-431 tool will initially be invoiced at its full advertised price. The trade-in credit is not deducted from that invoice at the time of purchase.
  6. The participating branch will arrange the applicable trade-in credit after Precision Equipment has physically received and verified the approved trade-in tool. No trade-in credit will be issued for a tool that has not been returned.

General conditions

  1. The trade-in tool must be fully functional and is subject to Launch’s approval.
  2. Providing a photo, make, model and serial number does not guarantee approval or a trade-in credit.
  3. The returned tool must match the approved tool, including its serial number. A different, damaged or non-functional tool may be rejected.
  4. The trade-in credit applies only to the participating Launch X-431 tool for which it is advertised. It is not transferable or redeemable for cash.
  5. The Promoter may verify a Participant’s eligibility, the qualifying purchase and the identity and condition of the returned trade-in tool.
  6. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes, restricts or modifies any right, remedy or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified.

Bapcor’s liability

  1. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified.
  2. To the extent permitted by law, Bapcor is not liable for any indirect, special or consequential loss arising from participation in the Promotion or the acceptance or use of a Reward.
  3. Bapcor is not responsible for a delay or failure to supply a Reward caused by circumstances outside Bapcor’s reasonable control. If the advertised Reward becomes unavailable, Bapcor will address the matter in accordance with applicable law.

Disputes

If a dispute arises in connection with the Promotion, a Participant must notify the Promoter in writing by emailing BAPNZ.Marketing@bapcor.com.

The Promoter will take reasonable steps to consider the Participant’s point of view, including any relevant facts or evidence provided, and respond fairly within a reasonable period.

In all other respects, the Promoter’s decision regarding eligibility, Reward allocation and administration of the Promotion is final, subject to applicable law.

Governing law and jurisdiction

  1. These Terms and Conditions are governed by and must be interpreted in accordance with the laws of New Zealand.
  2. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with the Promotion or these Terms and Conditions is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New Zealand.

Collection and use of personal information

  1. Bapcor may collect and use personal information to administer the Promotion, verify eligibility, supply Rewards and respond to enquiries.
  2. Bapcor may disclose information reasonably required to administer the Promotion or supply a Reward to organisations associated with the Promotion, including relevant product suppliers and fulfilment providers.
  3. If a Participant does not provide the information reasonably required to verify eligibility or supply a Reward, the Participant may not be able to receive the Reward.
  4. Bapcor will use personal information for future marketing or promotional activities only where the Participant has provided any consent required by law. Participants may withdraw that consent using the unsubscribe facility in the relevant communication.
  5. Bapcor’s applicable BNT Privacy Policy explains how Participants may request access to or correction of their personal information and how they may make a privacy complaint.
